When I see someone maxing vanquisher/guardian, I think "god that must have took effort", "damn I'm so close to Guardian too", etc.
Then I go to Kamadan, see a KoaBD r5, and watch his profession. X/Me for sure, for the stances. Then I just lol and remember Ursan exists for everyone but me.

Well it sucks that you haven't really had the chance to experience the social time of Guild Wars.
Heroes and Ursan have irreversably killed cooperative PvE entirely. Heroes will always be in the game, and as ANet has showed us, Ursan gets more people to buy EotN so any chance of a much-needed nerf is out of the question. Unless you spend hours searching around thousands of little pve guilds to find one that's active and competent (Good mother freaking luck.) and DOESN'T use ursan, it's just you and your heroes.

for me the issue was and remains titles.
when people stop playing for fun and start demanding efficiency in order to be able to grind up titles faster then the whole idea behind "making your own fun build" goes to hell.
a lot of people no longer make their own builds (ok i know that started since day 1 but that mindset is now the norm) since there is always and easier faster solution.
supremely ironic that in order to grind out titles they have to grind out a title tied skill.
OR you could just ignore all the drama and play it your way.
no really thats what i do, sure groups are less common, and you team up with noobs (sometimes) but at least its not bear.

I don't know why people are so pissed off about Ursan Blessing. Before Ursan, everyone ran Obsidian Tanks with Nukers, now they just run Ursan. Neither requires any skill (I admit that a stronger tank can speed up a run), and both can clear everything in the game. Titles didn't change anything, people who were playing to accumulate money or beat the game already wanted to win, adding titles just gave more people incentive to complete things instead of just running through. On the subject (How social are players?), people aren't, before heroes, most PuGs were completely silent. Either the party knew what it was doing and they were victorious, or it was filled with inexperienced players and it crashed and burned with ranting and insults. I think everyone is looking at the past and recalling something that never really existed.

Hmm find a good group of people. I'm in [LaZy]'s sister guild and ehm, they're a large playerbase of PVE'ers. You need to apply, but people will always be on and they're a great group of people. Sooo uh, yeah ^_^ PM me if you'd like info on the guilds.
